Protection
Protection
Nobody likes to think that illness, adversity or hardship will happen to them or their family, so planning for the unthinkable is something we take very seriously. Anyone can use a comparison site, but understanding the complexities of different providers contracts and levels of cover can be a minefield. No-one wants to find out they aren’t insured for something they were relying upon, especially at their most vulnerable time. We provide structured advice and help you to understand all the different types of products that are most suited to your circumstances. It may be that you want to protect your mortgage or your income in the event of loss of earnings. You may want to leave a lump sum to your spouse/partner or children if the worst should happen and support them in their hour of need.
You may be concerned if you were to suffer a critical illness and if such a life changing event occurs, that you don’t succumb to financial hardship. Whatever your set of circumstances might be, we can ensure that we have a solution to meet your concerns or needs.
We can also provide trust planning advice, so that your spouse/partner or children can receive any potential inheritance in the most tax efficient way. We can provide advice on protecting any potential inheritance from outside influences that you may have no control over, such as marital disputes of you or your beneficiaries, potential creditor claims or even bankruptcy. Trust planning can provide reassurances against many of these events and we can help to put your mind at ease and ensure your wishes are carried out to the full.
Trusts, Estate Planning and Inheritance Tax Planning are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Life Cover - Level or Decreasing
Not all life policies are the same, you may wish to opt for cover on a Level Term basis or a Decreasing basis. Level Life cover could provide you/your spouse/partner or children with a significant lump sum to support them financially if you were to pass away or suffer a terminal illness. Or a decreasing term policy could be designed to provide peace of mind to pay off your mortgage or other debts if such an unfortunate event should occur.
Critical / Serious Illness
If you are unfortunate to be diagnosed with a specified critical illness, this can be life changing to both you and your family. Cover can be arranged to provide either a level lump sum or a benefit amount on a decreasing basis. This type of policy can be designed to provide a benefit sum if you were to suffer a specified Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke or many of the serious illnesses in life. This can help to support you financially in your time of need. Children’s critical illness cover is an optional benefit that can be included too.
Income Protection
No one wants to face financial hardship in the event of illness or injury for a prolonged period of time. This type of protection is to provide a regular income if such an event should occur. If you are unable to work, this can provide an income to pay your mortgage/rent or household bills & expenditure. Additional benefits can also be added to include Fracture cover and hospitalisation benefit.
Whole of Life Cover
This is a policy designed to provide life cover for the whole of your life and not just for a specified term. This can provide peace of mind to protect your legacy for your loved ones or even an effective tax planning tool for inheritance tax and larger estates.
Private Medical Insurance
This type of cover can provide much needed reassurance for you and your family. It is much more than just queue jumping in the NHS. Private Medical Cover can ensure you are seen by a consultant or specialist rather than a junior doctor and it can provide that much needed diagnosis or treatment quickly when its required. You can be treated in a private hospital rather than an NHS hospital and you can have access to ground-breaking treatments that may not be available on the NHS.
